In his first full season with Team Colorado (2022-23 season), Marco assisted TCV 18 Black to a 20-4 RMR record and #1 ranking in the Region  (3 RMR Power victories), an 18 USA silver bracket win in the Winter Championship in Chicago (18 USA bid), a 5th place finish at the Dennis Lafata Boys Bid Tournament in St. Louis and an  18 USA Division Championship at USA Volleyball Boys Nationals (11-0 record).

Team Colorado is delighted to welcome back TCV Alumni Marco Dewey as a coach for the 2022-23 season!

Marco was part of the 2015 CBHSVA State Championship team for Rampart High School in his sophomore year. He joined the TCV 18s team for its first season in 2016-17 and was named 1st Team All-State for the District 20 team that season. 

Marco played beach volleyball for four years at the University of Stellenbasch in South Africa and was a 2018 South Africa National Beach Champion. 

Marco has been coaching volleyball for several years. His experience includes:

• 2014-16: Manager for Rampart Girls Varsity Team
• 2017: C team coach and varsity assistant at Coronado High School
• 2018-22: Head Coach at the University of Stellenbosch (Men's and Women's)
• 2022: TCV 17 Black Assistant Coach
• 2022: JV and varsity assistant at Coronado High School

Last season, Marco served as an assistant coach for the TCV 17 Black team which earned the clubs first ever boys bid to USA Volleyball Nationals by virtue of a 4th place finish at the Florida Fest National Qualifier. 17 Black finished 9th place in the USA division at USA Volleyball Boys Nationals, winning the silver bracket, also a top mark for a TCV boys team at nationals. 

Marco has completed the University of Stellenbosch Advanced Coaching Course along with the USAV IMPACT coaching course.
