Evan Brownsberger - 14 Gray (2023-24)

Playing Experience

Evan returns to Team Colorado for his 4th season in 2023-24 as a member of the 18 Green team. 

In the 2022-23 season,  he set the 18 Gray team to a 14-12 RMR season record, this included a division win in RMR Power 1 and a runner-up finish in the 2023 RMR Boys Regional tournament. Evan was a six-rotation setter/opposite for Sand Creek High School and lead the first year program to a Regional tournament appearance, 19-6 overall record and a Pike Peak 2 League championship (15-0). He was named to the AVCA High Risers list. 

In the 2021-22 season, Evan helped the 17 Black team earn Team Colorado's first USA Volleyball bid to nationals via a 4th place finish in the Florida Fest Bid Tournament 17 USA division. 17 Black earned an 11-6 record in RMR Play that season, including 3 second place finishes where their only power loss was to the TCV 18 Black team. The team earned a silver bracket win (9th place) in 17 USA at USA Volleyball Boys Nationals. Evan set the James Irwin High School team to a 13-10 overall record (12-8 Pikes Peak League) and was named 2nd Team Pikes Peak All-Conference and 2nd Team Gazette Preps All-Area. 

In the 2020-21 season, Evan help the 16 Black team to a 13th place finish in 16 Club at USAV nationals and a 5-3 record at the Dennis Lafata Boys Qualifier in St. Louis (Copper runner-ups). He helped lead the James Irwin JV team to an undefeated 10-0 record as the freshman starting libero. 

Coaching Experience

Evan returns to coach his second season with TCV in 2023-24 in his senior year of play. 

In 2022-23, Evan assisted the 14 Gray boys team, whose season included 5 RMR power events and two multi-day in Region tournaments.
