Team Colorado is excited to welcome Zak Schaffer as a new coach for the 2023-24 season! Zak was an athlete for TCV Boys from 2021-2023 (2 seasons). 

In the 2022-23 season,  Zak helped the 18 Green team to to a 14-11 D1 RMR record and top 10 ranking in the Region (4 RMR Power Top 5 Finishes), a silver bracket win at the Southwest Boys Bid Classic (18 USA bid), a bronze bracket win in 18 USA at the Dennis Lafata Boys Classic (St. Louis) and a 9th place finish in 18 USA at USA Volleyball Boys Nationals. Zak was a six-rotation outside attacker for Cheyenne Mountain High School in his senior season. He helped his CMHS team to a Regional Tournament appearance and a 13-11 overall record. Zak was named Pikes Peak 1 - First Team All-Conference for 2023. 

In the 2021-22 season, Zak was a member of the 18 Green team,  hose season included a division victory in RMR Power 3. Zak helped Cheyenne Mountain boys volleyball to a 17-7 overall record and a Regional Tournament appearance.
